ARB 4x4 Accessories is an Australian off-road accessory company founded in 1975 by Tony Brown in Melbourne, manufacturing its products at a facility in Kilsyth, Victoria, where it is headquartered. Brown began building bullbars and roof racks from his home in 1975 after a trip to Cape York, registered the company as ARB Engineering Pty Ltd in 1976 using his own initials, and the company has been listed on the Australian Securities Exchange since 1987. It expanded through acquisitions including the Roberts Diff Lock, marketed as the Air Locker, in 1987 and Old Man Emu suspension in 1988, and more recently developed partnerships under which Ford has offered ARB accessories as factory-backed options since 2021 and ARB has supplied Rivian since the same year.
