Andrews Kurth Kenyon LLP was a Houston, Texas based international law firm founded in 1902 by Frank Andrews and U.S. Congressman Thomas Henry Ball, with Melvin Kurth joining as a partner in 1913. The firm grew to about 400 attorneys across eleven offices worldwide, including London, Beijing, Dubai and several U.S. cities, working from its headquarters at the JPMorgan Chase Tower in downtown Houston. It ceased operating as an independent firm on April 2, 2018, when it combined with Hunton and Williams LLP to form Hunton Andrews Kurth LLP, a merger that created a roughly 1,000 lawyer firm with offices in twenty locations.
