Ambev is a Brazilian brewing and beverage company headquartered in Sao Paulo, formed on 1 July 1999 through the merger of the breweries Brahma and Antarctica and now a subsidiary of Anheuser-Busch InBev, the world's largest brewer. The company controls about 69 percent of Brazil's beer market and ranks among Brazil's largest companies by net revenue, while also producing soft drinks, energy drinks, juices, teas and mineral water and operating in 18 countries across the Americas as the second largest bottler of PepsiCo products outside the United States. Ambev reported revenue of about 15.9 billion US dollars, net income of about 2.8 billion US dollars, and more than 41,000 employees in 2025.
