Altri SGPS SA is a Portuguese industrial conglomerate headquartered in Porto, founded in 2005 through a spin-out of industrial assets from the Cofina group. The group's primary operations are wood pulp production, cultivation of forests for the timber and paper industry, and co-generation of energy including from renewable sources; before 2008 Altri also operated in steelworks, a division it divested when its F. Ramada subsidiary was spun off. Its major subsidiaries include Celulose do Caima and Celbi, both in the paper industry, and the holding company is listed on Euronext Lisbon as a component of the PSI-20 index.
