Alimentation Couche-Tard Inc. is a Canadian multinational operator of convenience stores, headquartered in Laval, Quebec. The company was established in 1980 and has grown to operate approximately 16,700 locations across North America and Europe, including Canada, the United States, Mexico, and several Scandinavian and Baltic countries. It runs its stores under several brand names, with Circle K serving as its primary international banner alongside Couche-Tard in Quebec, Mac's Convenience Stores, On the Run, and Holiday Stationstores. The company was founded by Alain Bouchard, who remains its chairman, and is publicly traded on the Toronto Stock Exchange under the ticker ATD.
