AIB Group plc is one of the so-called Big Four commercial banks in the Republic of Ireland, formed on 21 September 1966 through the consolidation of three existing Irish banks under the name Allied Irish Banks. Headquartered at 10 Molesworth Street in Dublin, the bank offers a full range of personal, business and corporate banking services alongside insurance and pension products, and has operated across Ireland, the United Kingdom and, formerly, other international markets. Its core business is retail and commercial banking; as of 2025 the group held total assets of 148.2 billion euros and employed approximately 10,469 people, with 2024 results showing revenue of 4.9 billion euros and net income of 2.35 billion euros.
