Philip Kotler (b. 1931) is an American marketing scholar and S. C. Johnson & Son Distinguished Professor of International Marketing Emeritus at Northwestern University's Kellogg School of Management, widely regarded as the father of modern marketing management for integrating economics, organizational theory and behavioral psychology into marketing practice.
