He co-founded Facebook and serves as chairman, chief executive officer, and controlling shareholder of its parent company, Meta Platforms. He also co-founded and co-leads the Chan Zuckerberg Initiative, and in 2008 he became the world's youngest self-made billionaire at age twenty three.
