The Calendar
Every observance the atlas can place in September 2026, on the day it begins. Open a date to read the day in full.
The atlas records no observance beginning in this month. That is not the same as nothing being observed: many of its holidays follow calendars whose rules have not been written down here yet.
Dates for the Hebrew and Islamic calendars are the tabular reckoning, which is what a printed calendar prints. Communities that begin a month on a sighted crescent may differ by a day, and differ from one another by place. A festival lasting several days is listed on the day it begins.
